How To Get Lindsay Lohan’s Hair Color
I love Lindsay Lohan’s hair color in this rich brown shade; it totally compliments her skin tone. This shade can be created on several different shades of natural hair color. The best results would be to use the formulas on natural hair in the medium range of color.
But, it can also be used on deeper shades for an over glow of color. If the hair you wish to use this formula on is too light or too dark you will be disappointed because it will look off color.
This formula would also be great used as a highlight formula or to do a few low- volume highlights in soft gold (not white) around the face and use this formula as an overlay for the final color. You will have a beautiful multi- dimension overall final results. This process is done in the salons all the time.

For the very best base color processes be sure your hair is in good condition. If your hair is weak or too dry on the ends, shampoo, condition, and dry the hair. Then, apply the formula from the roots throughout the ends. For the following formulas your hair should be in a natural medium shade.
If you color your hair now it must match the formulas below, because if your present tinted hair is darker the roots will not be the same shade in the final results. You will need to choose other shades of hair color. Also if your hair is long you will need to use two products for the best results.
Formula for Soft Golden Brown: Two choices

Use over medium natural hair color shades. If your hair is color treated you will not achieve the above effect.
For less warmth use:

I like a touch of warmth. My favorite would be to add just a touch of soft red to this formula. This is done by adding ¼ oz of L’Oreal Preference in Light Auburn R6

I just happened to come across this website, which is very, very tasteful and well done. I am impressed, and many hair/color related sites do not have this sort of class.
I have long hair, and it is dry on ends. Always was like that even when I was in teens and twenties.
It has been colored over the years. Currently, I’ve colored it myself nearly two months ago with a ash golden blonde brown sort of color. For someone who did it herself, not bad. okay. You can see some of my natural hair and the other color jobs under it (those done by professionals, and I am referring to 4-5 inches from ends of hair going up).
I read an article, that I have in my hand entitled “from coppery brown to sun kissed chestnut”. Perfect! My natural color growing up was chestnut brown. I am much older now, and of course I need to cover greys. What I liked about the article is that it shows the before/after photo of the participant client. Her hair has the look my hair did/does–that brassy/orangey/coppery brown. The aricle points out that the coppery redness makes the skin appear more sallow, so the colorist Tammy said she gave the participant an overall mocha base color, which depth and warm shade makes her skin look overall more radiant and her eye color more intense (she has same eye color as me a real light golden brown/hazel sort of color). IN addition, the colorist wove “sun-kissed highlights around Donna’s face to keep the color from looking flat”.
Would you be able to possibly give me some color choices for the mocha base color. I have explained my color, and I have greys that do come in, plenty always in front at somewhat to sides of face. The sun kissed highlights I can attempt to do–perhaps you can offer tips/guidance for that, and perhaps a special comb or brush for them.
